Garage Collections
Getting a vehicle to the garage is the hard part when it will not drive. We collect from homes, workplaces and roadsides and deliver into garages across Basildon and Essex, then bring it back again when the work is done.
For drivers
If your car needs work and cannot safely get there, we take it. That includes the MOT failure that is now not road legal, the car that will not start on the driveway, and the one where the garage has said do not drive it.
We can also collect from the garage afterwards and return it to you, which is useful if you are at work when the repair finishes.
For garages and workshops
Garages use us as an outsourced collection service. Rather than sending a member of staff out in a courtesy car and leaving a bay idle, the vehicle arrives on a flatbed.
That works for customer collections, moving vehicles between your own sites, shifting a job that has turned out to be bigger than expected, and clearing long-term non-runners off the forecourt.
MOT failures and non-road-legal vehicles
A vehicle that has failed its MOT on a dangerous defect should not be driven on the road. If the MOT has also expired, driving it is an offence in most circumstances.
Transporting it on a flatbed removes the issue entirely. The vehicle is carried, not driven, so its road-legal status does not come into it.
Common questions
Can you collect while I am at work?
Yes, as long as we can access the vehicle and have the keys, or you have left them with the garage. Arrange the details when you book.
Do you have trade rates for garages?
Talk to us about regular or repeat work. Call or WhatsApp and we will quote for the volume you are moving.
Can you move a vehicle between two garages?
Yes. Garage-to-garage moves are straightforward and common, for example when a job needs a specialist.
